Natural by Nature is the slogan on a milk carton for many of us Park Slope yippies that shop in the coop and care about the food we put in our bodies. This place produces ice cream from that brand of milk and it's absolutelly fantastic! The ice cream is tasty and they flavor offerings are vast and the best thing is that you can ask for a halve a scoop so you can try more than one kind even though you don't feel like eating a whole lot of ice cream.

I was very excited when a noticed a restaurant was opening up just around the corner ... but I am not that excited any more since it's too expensive for the quality of food that is there. It decor seems like it was purchased from page X in a Mexican restaurant furneture catalog and it feels strangly synthetic. To top it off the waiter was alamingly cheerful kind of like that chap in restaurant featured in Office Space Chotchkie's where Jennifer Anniston's character worked. The food wasn't activly bad but I will not be going there again in the near futer which is a shame since it's just around the corner.

The staff is super friendly and gave us extra glass of wine to compensate for something that wasn't even a big deal to us.I am looking forward to go again to try some of their other pizza options. And did I mention that it's relatively cheap unlike Frannys which is way to expensive and this place is practically just around the corner.

I finally went there again and I was totally satisfied. It's right accross the streat from where I live so it's super convenient. I went for brunch and the staff was friendly and the food is good. They really encourage parents with children with those crayons so you can draw stuff on the paper they cover the tables with and it's quite fun. If you do like kids around this is a good thing but if you easily get annoyed with crying kids, you should look elsewhere.

We went there again after hearing it had somewhat reclaimed it's earlier status as a good place. The entree and main courses where really fabulous, we had some pickeled peppers and I had the cod. The desserts were a bit of a dissapointment. Over all it was fairly good I would have labelled this as love it if it hadn't been for that wierdo manager that was just too much. We came there and the place was empty and it took him 10 minutes to decide weather or not he had a table for us ... common it's not like there was anyone there and there aren't that many tables there so if he though he was fully booked is shouldn't have been a mystery to him. He also had a really uncomfortable presence! Next time I try to go I may turn around if he's there.

I don't remember another Korean place around the slope so Moim is nice addition. When I went there it was their opening night which made it all the more exciting everyone were really happy and the owner came over to our table several times to chat and was genuenly happy to hear our opinion and not one of those standard pr-ish greatings that you often get on those occations.
First on the table were those pickled little things that are standard at korean restaurants they had radishes, white kimche and some beans. For main course I had the blackened cod and it was perfect the flakes came right off and the whole thing melted in my mouth. The meal we had was in the more expensive range but menu accomodates various price-ranges. This place doesn't have a liquor licence yet so it's bring your own untill then.

Tuesday nights are tasting menu nights with 5 course meal for $20 and if you throw in a extra $20 you get wine pairings as well.
My favorite things so far are the Swedish meet balls which I had last night yummi it was reminiscent of the meatballs which my mother made when I was growing up but so much better with a flare that comes with dining in the big city.
