Ok I have to review this place mainly cuz I am shocked. And honestly you shouldnt get shocked by a mere slice (or two) of pizza but I was.

See you go to a pizza joint its either a regular pizza slice or its some machine made (dominos, pizza hut, etc) thing that just tastes funny.

Well I wasnt hungry. At first, I was just tagging along and my friends ordered a roasted veggie pizza, I read the menu and it looked impressive but I dont like roasted veggies (sorry veggie fans) so I didnt think much of it. I took one bite from his slice... I GOT TWO!!. OMG this was amazing, it is sooooo fresh! It had garlic shallot puree, truffle puree, zuchinni, roasted red peppers ( i normally dont like it but it was heavenly), fresh herbs like thyme. It was so good. This didnt come out of any machine! Someone back there was taking the time to make this pizza for us. I was impressed. I totally plan on going back! I recommend their thin crust pizza cuz its amazing.

I dont like Mexican food. I used to but to me its just not interesting. Its tortilla with meat, cheese, and vegetable no matter how you look at it. So when I get invited to Mexican restaurants Im already weary. (I also have trauma from food poisoning from a Mexican restaurant so that can be a factor too).

HOWEVER!!! I must say that even though I am not a fan, this is a very good restaurant. The people who work there are very pleasant and the food is fresh. You know when you go to a mexican restaurant and they put cheese on everything you normally get american, cheddar, montery jack if youre lucky. Its nice to go to a mexican restaurant and they actually use MEXICAN FRYING CHEESE! It was good and I felt like I was in an old friends house for dinner whos family would make homemade mexican food for me everytime and I actually enjoyed it. The food is prepared great and the proportions are perfect for the price. I say if you truly love mexican food you HAVE to go to this place because its THAT good!!.

Im putting "like it" cuz up until the last time I was there I LOVED it. I just love the ambience, they had Monty Python Ale on tap the service was awesome, the food was awesome and the dessert was yummy. The problem is, has anyone been there or passed by RECENTLY? The cut the place in half. The section that had the bar is gone! Now theres a turkish restuarant. I dunno whats happened or why but this place was always crowded on weekends I dunno what they are gonna do now its even smaller. I dont even know if there is still a bar. I am already disappointed and I havent even gone back to see how it is now. Im scared to find out.

I dont go to many Italian Restaurants cuz well I live in Queens and my experience is that they are normally overpriced and the food is normally something I could make myself cheap and its a generic commercial Italian menu that you normally come across. My friends live in the area and were raving about this place so I went and omg was I impressed. It is in fact my favorite Italian restaurant! I am willing to drag people from other boroughs to savor this food. The appetizers are amazing, the pasta is to die for, and the menu is reasonably priced. You get your moneys worth and then some. The staff is friendly and down to earth, once you become a regular they remember your face (as they do my friend Jay). The space is small so it does get crowded but during the week its not a problem. Oh! And please, if you want a good dessert get their cannoli. I know a cannoli is soooo done at Italian eateries but trust me it is worth it, they are amazing! Freshly made just for you.
