Now here is another restaurant that is old in restaurant years.

 

It is hard to figure why it is still there.

I do check it out again from time to time and the food is really good. It tends to not be crowded and the service is kind of old fashined and attentive. The wait staff are not actors filling in here to make the rent but carreer waiters. As I said that I don't think I have ever seen a waitress in there. Stick with traditional dishes like eggplant parm, pastas that gramma usta make. the portions are generous and the owner is likely to come by and say hi. If you are friendly you might even get a complimentary dessert.
