Best hot chocolate in the Slope!!! Every time I pass it I want to go in. Appealing and well-prepared light lunch options; pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service. I felt mixed about chocolate mousse and some little cakes I brought home, but loved the mini passionfruit tarts. Did I mention the hot chocolate?

I initially assumed that this was a typical bakery with baked goods and hot drinks at the counter. It does have counter service and a small bar where you can sit to have a quick coffee and croissant or muffin (they usually offer one or two sweet choices and one savory), but the rest of the surprisingly large cafe is devoted to table service, with the menu offering pastries, beverages, light lunch options and afternoon tea. There is a tarragon chicken salad sandwich with golden raisins on a croissant that is out of sight.

The peanut butter cookie wasn't soft like I was hoping it would be but it tasted damn good. Everything else that I've had there has been good as well. I just wish they had cupcakes... anyway, it's a good place to grab a snack when you're at the flea market across the street.

I am so excited about having this place right accross the street from me. It has fantastic baked goods and the lunch options are not too bad either. Although I like the muffin place next door but sometimes I just want to upgrade my breakfast and the coffee at SW is far better then there.
