Despite my rating of "Like it," the food here is "Love it" good. Unfortunately, the restaurant is Manhattanesque in its prices and portions. I had the prix fixe which consisted of a tuna tartare amuse-bouche, artichoke soup, hamachi, and black bass. I would describe how they were prepared except that I don't exactly remember. I do remember that the black bass had delicious crunchy skin and was served on top of a very creamy polenta. I actually can't really think of anything bad to say about the food other than that the portions weren't exactly the most filling, but Saul isn't exactly a place you go to have a filling meal. However, it is a good place to impress a date or your parents.
