I've only been here once, but they had yummy, novel pizzas. It was eerily empty when we were there, but it seems to be busier nowadays.

I've eaten at Peperoncino twice and had one very good dinner and one OK dinner. Based on my experience, it's a little difficult to believe the previous, negative reviews; the food is basically good, Northern Italian fare. If you're used to spagetti slathered in tomato sauce, the simple Venetian or Tuscan cooking might not wow you. I will say they're not consistent, some dishes are certainly a lot better than others, it pays to order carefully.

Both the food and the company were mediocre. The latter was not the restaurant's fault...but I'm holding them accountable for the bad food and I won't be returning.

The pizza is ok, but everything else (except for the house wine, which is oddly yummy) is actively bad.

Hey Kagome, I've had the pizza and it was disappointing. I was fully prepared to like this place, chatted with the waiter in Italian, yatta-yatta, but everything was off. Mediocre food, lousy wine, inattentive service... who needs it.

I had a salad that was basically iceberg-esque lettuce drenched in olive oil, and pasta in a bland, watery sauce. I've heard the pizza is good, but I'm not going to bother finding out.

I ate a pizza here that had gold foil on it. It was quite good.
