Great atmosphere for brunch and lunch and a nice garden in the back. Coffee is good but not great, but sandwiches and fresh-squeezed juice are excellent.

My boyfriend and I went to Perch for brunch.  The atmosphere at Perch is very friendly, and I love the the cute t-shirts and coffee cups you can conveniently buy on your way out.  I could have done without the screaming kids on a Sunday morning, but that comes with the territory of Park Slope.  The coffee was good and the challah french toast was delish, perfectly flakey.  I had to ask for more syrup because they were a little stingey the first time out of the gate.  My boyfriend ordered the green eggs & ham sans ham and it was amazing!  I look forward to going back to Perch to take advantage of the back garden in the Summer.

My take on this place has more to do with music than food.. Some of the best music is happening in this plac!!! Most especially Jazz artists wo perform in much more major places in the City are taking a Fri Night or thurs night gig here.  I don't understand why but I can certainly tell you that if you want to walk over in the hood and hear some great music  this is the place.. I have eaten afew odds and ends here but their wine list is short and well chosen and that is what goes with listening for me.
