Great food for brunch and dinner. Their burger with blue cheese is a little messy to eat but delicious.

Their watermelon, procuitto, and goat cheese salad was amazing. One of the best flavor combinations ever.
Unfortunately for them, it is also really easy to make at home. So I haven't been back. Thanks for the recipe, though.

Very appropriate for Park Slope where one can hardly walk down the street with out running into a fellow Scandinavian. Finally some Scandinavian cuisine in the Park Slope with the new chef at Melt, Patrik Landberg. Tuesday nights are tasting menu nights with 5 course meal for $20 and if you throw in a extra $20 you get wine pairings as well.
My favorite things so far are the Swedish meet balls which I had last night yummi it was reminiscent of the meatballs which my mother made when I was growing up but so much better with a flare that comes with dining in the big city. All the other stuff I had have been fabulous so I can recommend this place enough.

Usually a young crowd. Went for the $20 tasting menu, and despite some early confusiong over the vegetarian option (I'm still not entirely sure what the options were-- something like, you can either eat one of the veg courses twice, swap in something from the regular menu or have something entirely different-- the waitress was very sweet and accomodating, I was just overwhelmed by the choices) the experience as a whole was pretty good. Honestly, I felt a little sick at the end, I think from eating too much, but some of the courses were imaginative and tasty, including one spicy but yummy bean soup. Nice for brunch as well. The white and brown decor gives off a very clean vibe somehow, and although the atmosphere can seem a touch cold at times, the staff is usually friendly and helpful. Interesting background music chocies sometimes as well.
