Best sushi I've had in New York, delicious and inventive appetizers. Absolutely don't miss the chocolate bruno and green tea creme brulee desserts. I love the clams in miso, mushroom salad, and house salad appetizers. On the Western side of the restaurant, an excellent raw bar and perfectly steamed lobster.

Yum. Pricey but yum. Everything I've had here has been great. The fried chicken with the honey to dip it in is so damn good that I'm tempted to order it every time I go but everything else they have is delicious as well. If fried chicken is not you're thing, they have a pretty long menu with lots of things to try so you're bound to find something you like. The raw bar is fantastic as well, I like to get oysters from the Pacific Northwest because it reminds me of home *sigh*

Don't go here if you're a vegetarian--unless you're just looking for a delicious rootbeer float and someone else is paying for it...and you don't mind that the ice-cream-to-soda ratio isn't generous.

Great cream of tomato soup. It alone makes going here worth it. Blue Ribbon is on the pricey side, so it's not really an eat-there-daily place, but it has consistently good food. Not too many vegetarian options, but I'm a fish eater, and there is a lot of seafood. The smoked salmon sandwich is delicious as are the oysters if you're an oyster person. On the dessert front, I recently shared an ubelievable strawberry sundae here. Mmm.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. the chocolate bread pudding was insane. It reaffirmed my belief in sweets. Oh my god. I am fantasizing about it right now.  As far as steaks go, the hanger steak was a lot better (more tender & flavourful) than the ny strip. I don't really know why I ordered the strip. Shoulda gone for the fried chicken. MY BAD.
