I wanted to like this place so badly... unfortunately, the food here was awful. However, it's still always packed for dinner so maybe it had to do with me going on the first day?

I've been here twice and I had pretty damn good meals both times out. The pulled pork on bisquits is tremendous. The rough-cut cole slaw (where does that word come from anyway?) helps improve this ubiquitous side-dish's rep. The bar looks well stocked, and they've got some good brews (Six Point Sweet Action, et al), so stop by and have a beer and some of their great bisquits, with honey from their little honeybears. I'm looking forward to going back and giving the ribs a try, though they will have to work hard to beat my fiancee's uncle's central Florida recipe. His smoker has a trailer hitch. 'Nuf said.

The food here really was terrible. I landed up here to hear some music.. ok I admit I am related to a musician who played here to fulfilll his obligation for this date when the place was still Night and Day.. I brought some friends and we ate before the gig and then proceeded to the back room to hear some music.  The food was aweful.. I will not even review it except to say we had 6 people at the table and everyone ordered something else so I tasted a nice range from the menu. That is the only place I will use the word NICE. everything was tasteless, or off taste or downright not edible.

We proceeded to the backroom.

The music was awesome but it is a door gig... They stiffed my relative (lol) on the door and that was the last time he played there..

Avoid!!!!

Embarassed that this place is in PS.

The food has gone seriously downhill (and the prices, up) since they moved to Park Slope from Flatbush. they used to have really great fried chicken. No more. The biscuits are pretty damn good though. Personally, skip it. Try a real BBQ joint, you'll be happier.
