You must be out of your nuggin!!!! This place is great! Yeah it's not fancy Italian, but it's a nice ambiance and good food. It's a good place for take out or just to take you're friends to for a nice dinner and wine. None the less it's got an old Italian family style flare with old family photos on the wall. I would recommend it to my fam and friends.

My fave! The term you get what you pay for does not apply here. the FOod is SO cheap AND they give you huge portions.that is not an instant good review, granted, but everything is so tasty. Can't go wrong with the eggplant parmagiana, their cream sauce over rigatoni, fresh scallops and shrimp is amazing, and even their sampler - eggplant, meatballs and sausage, is well worth the price.

Indulge- conch, vegetable lasagna, whatever the fresh fish
 special of the day is...

Stay away from - the tortollini, ravioli, soggy-over garlicky bread.

I dont go to many Italian Restaurants cuz well I live in Queens and my experience is that they are normally overpriced and the food is normally something I could make myself cheap and its a generic commercial Italian menu that you normally come across. My friends live in the area and were raving about this place so I went and omg was I impressed. It is in fact my favorite Italian restaurant! I am willing to drag people from other boroughs to savor this food. The appetizers are amazing, the pasta is to die for, and the menu is reasonably priced. You get your moneys worth and then some. The staff is friendly and down to earth, once you become a regular they remember your face (as they do my friend Jay). The space is small so it does get crowded but during the week its not a problem. Oh! And please, if you want a good dessert get their cannoli. I know a cannoli is soooo done at Italian eateries but trust me it is worth it, they are amazing! Freshly made just for you.

Among people who have lived in the Slope for a while this restaurant is a tradition. My daughter had her engagement party here 12 years ago because that is where her husband and she had their first date together. We took over the plae on a Sunday afternoon and the food and the whole experience was delightful. The "cheap" menu is wonderful. I still love their house salad with the chickpeas. Everytime I order it I remember what a nice addition a can of chick peas is to a salad and I put it on my grocery list. I am not fond of the concoction of roasted pepper spread or whatever it is that is served with the bread. there is nice butter in the kitchen. As and they will bring it to the table. the staff is friendly and efficient and even on a busy night you will feel like your business is appreciated and no one is rushing you through the meal.
