Dismal, like most of Park Slope's South Asian offerings. I made the mistake of going when I was new to the neighborhood and didn't know any better. Everything was brown and bland and had a canned feeling about it. Honestly, I don't know how this place and Amin on 7th survive. They are both perennially empty, and with good reason. After this meal, I swore off Brooklyn Indian food for over a year. then I discovered Kinara, and began to heal.

I must say, I am not a huge fan of Indian food but I know good grub when I eat it and this was overpriced and awful. My roomate ate it and it made him sick as a dog, vomiting over the side of the bed and all... of course the rest of us were sick too but you know.... Star of India=Needle

roomate=camel's broken back

I am gonna put in a counter vote for Kinara on 5th ave and about 11th street.. if you crave Indian food. I think this place does bigger take out than eat in... but not matter.. the food is delicious and none of that.. "It made me sixk".. It made me want to order again.. but saving for a special treat nite. the rest of the Indian places in the Slope are terrible.
